Belgian youth prospect Trey Ogunsuyi has signed a new long-term contract with Sunderland, the club has announced.

The young striker has committed his future to the Club until 2028! ♥️
The 18 year old striker has one senior appearance for the Black Cats, but has shined in the Sunderland academy squad, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists in 22 appearances last season.

The fairytale return to the Premier League for Sunderland has come crashing back down to earth, with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Burnley.

Not a single Sunderland fan could’ve predicted that result. The last time the Mackems won a Premier League match was a 2-0 away win at Hull in May 2017, and today Sunderland swept aside West Ham United 3-0 at the Stadium of Light.
